    Kenneth and Amanda Connell are our Assistant Pastors and have been associated with Living Branch Ministries for over 10 years. Ken came to Living Branch as an ordained minister from a Pentecostal denomination.  Amanda also holds a minister's license. They were ordained by Living Branch Ministries on July 17, 2005.

    Pastor Connell was born in Dayton, Ohio to Rev. James Connell and Wilma Hawks. The family moved to Iva, SC when he was 10 years old. He received his first minister’s certificate at age 15 and was first ordained in 1996.  He has worked as a Pastor, Evangelist, and church planter prior to joining Living Branch Ministries.  In addition to South Carolina, seeds of his ministry have been planted in West Virginia, Mississippi, Georgia, Tennessee and Iowa. He served on a church state board and as a regent on the board of Logos Bible College. Pastor Connell teaches Creation Science and Hebrew Studies and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Christian Education.

     Amanda Gillespie Connell, a Pickens County, SC native, holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Christian Education focused on childhood and early elementary education. She has worked with children and teens most of her life. She taught private school, served on a state youth workers board, and taught a continuing education class for childcare workers.

     Ken and Amanda were married September 8, 1979 and have two daughters. Their oldest daughter, Antonia Connell Dobbins, went to be with Jesus in 2004. She left behind two children, Jacob and Sarah. Their youngest daughter, Teresa, graduated from Southern Wesleyan University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Science and continued her education receiving her Master’s Degree in Professional Counseling. She currently works with troubled teen girls. The family is excited about what God is doing at Living Branch Ministries and is thrilled to be a part of it.
