Kenneth and Amanda Connell are our Assistant Pastors and have been associated with Living Branch Ministries for over 10 years. Ken came to Living Branch as an ordained minister from a Pentecostal denomination. Amanda also holds a minister's license. They were ordained by Living Branch Ministries on July 17, 2005.
Pastor Connell was born in Dayton, Ohio to Rev. James Connell and Wilma Hawks. The family moved to Iva, SC when he was 10 years old. He received his first minister’s certificate at age 15 and was first ordained in 1996. He has worked as a Pastor, Evangelist, and church planter prior to joining Living Branch Ministries. In addition to South Carolina, seeds of his ministry have been planted in West Virginia, Mississippi, Georgia, Tennessee and Iowa. He served on a church state board and as a regent on the board of Logos Bible College. Pastor Connell teaches Creation Science and Hebrew Studies and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Christian Education.
Amanda Gillespie Connell, a Pickens County, SC native, holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Christian Education focused on childhood and early elementary education. She has worked with children and teens most of her life. She taught private school, served on a state youth workers board, and taught a continuing education class for childcare workers.
Ken and Amanda were married September 8, 1979 and have two daughters. Their oldest daughter, Antonia Connell Dobbins, went to be with Jesus in 2004. She left behind two children, Jacob and Sarah. Their youngest daughter, Teresa, graduated from Southern Wesleyan University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Science and continued her education receiving her Master’s Degree in Professional Counseling. She currently works with troubled teen girls. The family is excited about what God is doing at Living Branch Ministries and is thrilled to be a part of it.
Stan Wilson has worked as Music Minister at Living Branch Ministries since April of 2013. He was born in Grenville, SC and grew up in Mauldin, SC. Stan surrendered his heart to the Lord in 1983 at a week of church youth camp. Stan married his wife, Esther, in 1997. They have two children, Micah and Bethany. Stan is also involved with a Christian men’s rehab home in Liberty, SC, called Home With a Heart. In their spare time, Stan and his family like to go camping in the mountains or at the beach. Stan counts it an honor and a privilege that the Lord has given him the opportunity to use his talent in this capacity and to be a small part of what the Lord is doing at Living Branch Ministries.
Belinda Worley is the director of our Evangelistic Ministry. Belinda married her husband, Earl, on October 27, 1989 and have 5 children, 7 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. She has been serving Jesus for over 39 years. God has brought Belinda and Earl through a lot of hard times and has been with them every step of the way. In 1980, Jesus called Belinda to preach at which time she was a single mother of two girls. When she married Earl, he had three children of his own and was already serving Jesus.
Belinda and Earl became members of Living Branch Ministries in 2013. They are involved in various aspects of the food bank here at Living Branch. Belinda spreads the Word of the Lord and ministers to those who come to the food bank, and Earl drives the box truck bringing in the food that is to be distributed. Belinda is also very active with the Marine's Toys for Tots Program allowing our church to distribute toys at Christmas to not only the children of the food bank but also to the children in our church.
Justin and Teresa Carlisle are the leaders of our Student Ministry.
Justin was born in Easley, SC and raised in Dacusville, SC. He studied Business Management at Tri-County Technical College. Justin was saved in 2005 and knew that God had a purpose for his life within the church. He helped start a church in Easley before being called into ministry at Living Branch. He has a heart for local missions and students. He is an Eagle Scout.
Teresa Connell Carlisle, was born in Anderson, SC and raised in Pickens, SC. She is a pastor’s daughter who has followed the calling of God in her family. She has helped plant churches and served on mission trips in West Virginia, New Orleans, and the Dominican Republic. Teresa graduated from Southern Wesleyan University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Science and continued her education receiving her Master’s Degree in Professional Counseling. She currently works with troubled teen girls. She has worked with students for many years in different capacities.
Bryan and Dianne Bell are the leaders of our Children's Ministry. They have been married since 2009 and have 5 children and 6 grandchildren. They joined Living Branch in 2016.
Bryan and Dianne have over 10 years experience in children's ministry and they both have a passion for bringing Jesus to children. Their focus is on teaching children the foundation of what Jesus did for us at the cross. They believe that every child is important and they show the love that Jesus showed us.
Patricia Moore is the director of our Women's Ministry here at Living Branch Ministries.
Pat was born in Woodruff, SC. She graduated Woodruff High School in 1969, graduated Spartanburg School of Nursing in 1974, followed by a 32-year career in Med-Surg, Geriatrics, and Alzheimer’s Care. She has 2 children and 3 grandchildren. She enjoys cooking and blessing others, rummage sales, and antique stores.
Pat first came to Living Branch in November 2011 and has been a vital part of many ministries including the Living Branch Ministries Food Bank and our Praise Team.
Bryan Bell is the director of our Men's Ministry which is also known as "Fishers of Men".
Bryan was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana and started attending church at the age of 11. In 2006, he fully committed his life to Christ.
In 2008, he relocated to Greer, South Carolina. This is when he started searching God's purpose for his life. Bryan remains courageous in the Lord, while leading with integrity the men of the church. His desire is for men to be what God has called them to be in the home, at their jobs, in the church, in the community, and to reach lost souls for the Kingdom of Heaven.
Bryan, who has been at Living Branch Ministries since January, 2016, is also an active member of the food bank ministry.
Stacey Crary leads Morning Mana and the director of our Street Ministry here at Living Branch.
She was born Nov. 27,1968 to Clarence and Della Helton and is the 7th of 11 children. She was raised in Church of God of Prophecy and saved at the age of 11. Stacey has been married to her husband, David, for over 34 years and has three children; Candice, David and Heather. They also have 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
In 2005, Stacey teamed up with Kyle and Tina Self, who were the Associate Pastors of Abundant Life Ministries, and started a street ministry in Waynesville and Asheville, NC. Falling in love with the homeless people she discovered that this was her calling. The Lord spoke to her heart Matthew 25:31-40 as her mission. In 2005 she was ordained by Jesus Never Fails Ministries.
In 2017 the Lord brought Stacey to Living Branch Ministries. Not only is she the director of our Street Ministry, but Stacey oversees the Street Ministry for the Greenville - Spartanburg area. This ministry goes down rabbit trails looking for the homeless, handing out blessing bags, and showing the love of Jesus.
Along with being over the Street Ministry, Stacey volunteers in the Living Branch Ministries Food Bank, teaches in the Children's Ministry, sings on the Praise and Worship Team, and is an Usherette.
Dianne Bell is the Office Administrator for Living Branch Ministries.
Dianne was born and raised in Greenville, SC and has worked in healthcare for over 27 years. In 1991, she received certification as a CNA from The American Red Cross. In 1998, she received a certificate as a Limited Med Tech from Greenville Technical College, and returned to school in 2015 at University of Phoenix where she received an Associate Degree in Business. She is currently sub-contracted by Drumm Health Services as a Paramedical Examiner.
In 2016 Dianne and her husband, Bryan, started attending Living Branch Ministries and started volunteering in the food bank. In 2017 they were named directors of the Children's Ministry here at Living Branch. Dianne also started an Interpretive Dance Team in 2017. In 2018 Dianne was appointed as the Church Administrator.
